At El Canario by the Lagoon, a one night deposit is charged at booking, refundable if reservation is canceled four or more days in advance.  At El Canario Inn and El Canario by the Sea, credit card holds room, but is not charged in advance unless for a one night penalty should you cancel less than four days before arrival or fail to show.

Upon check in, you will be required to provide your credit card and authorized cardholder signature
or you may pay total room charges with travelers checks or US Cash.
