Whether you want to spend the entire day on the beach,
enjoy a sunrise walk along the beach or just people-watch, you will want
to visit the famous Condado beach in San Juan.
Since all beaches in Puerto Rico are public, you can
enjoy the same beaches as guests at the expensive hotels while you save
money with our value room rates!
As you'll see from the photos - the beach runs near all
three hotels!
El Canario by the Lagoon is just one block from
Ashford Avenue and the new 'La Ventana al Mar' ocean front park, beach
and promenade. This is the same beach used by guests at the new
"Renaissance La Concha Hotel & Casino". The beach is easy
to access through
the park and features a protected cove that is good for children
(photo above). Lots of palm trees, an outdoor cafe & facilities
in the park make this a great choice for a day on the beach! At
night, the promenade along the ocean features great views of the stars
and lights of San Juan's Condado!
El Canario by the Sea is closest to the beach!
You can be on the same beach as the San Juan Marriott in a few seconds -
the beach is less than 20 steps from our front door! On one side is all
the action of the Marriott's beach - but the other side is a much
quieter section of beach. You can see from the photo how close we are to
the beach!
El Canario Inn is one block from the beach. Take
Cervantes Street to the end where you'll find a set of steps down to the
beach. To the left, you'll find the activity of the beach in front of
the Marriott and El Canario by the Sea. To the other side is a quieter
side of the beach that ends near the Ambassador Hotel & Casino.

At El
Canario by the Lagoon, a one night deposit is charged at booking, refundable if
reservation is canceled four or more days in advance. At El Canario Inn and El
Canario by the Sea, credit card holds room, but is not charged in advance unless
for a one night penalty should you cancel less than four days before arrival or
fail to show.
Upon check in, you will be required to provide your credit
card and authorized cardholder signature
or you may pay total room charges with
travelers checks or US Cash.
